Top 10 Christina Aguilera Singles

Top 10 Christina Aguilera Singles

Today is the 34th birthday of one of my favorite singers, Christina Aguilera. She’s been in the shadow of other artists like Britney Spears or Lady Gaga all her career, but unlike those she really has an outstanding voice and is highly talented. Don’t get me wrong, you all know by now that I LOVE Britney above all other artists in the pop music industry, but I have to be objective and we all know she doesn’t have the greatest of voices, which doesn’t mean she can’t sing, she can and I love her voice, but Christina’s voice is just amazing. No wonder why she’s been named The Voice Of A Generation.

She’s known to be shady and very rude, but I don’t know her personally so I’m not gonna judge her for that. I’ve always loved her music since I was a kid and I love all her albums. Some more than others, Lotus was a big disappointment for me, but in general they’re all pretty amazing, especially Stripped and Back To BasicsContinue reading

2015 Golden Globe Awards Nominations

2015 Golden Globe Awards Nominations

The other day nominations for next year’s Golden Globe Awards were released! I haven’t seen many of the movies or TV shows that are nominated, but a lot of my favorite actors are on this year’s categories. For example we have Jennifer Aniston nominated for her role in the indie movie Cake and Jake Gyllenhaal for his role in Nightcrawler.

On TV some of the highlights are Game Of Thrones, nominated for best drama series, Jessica Lange and Kathy Bates for their roles in American Horror Story and Allison Janney for MomContinue reading

All Time 100 Sexiest Women in the World

All Time 100 Sexiest Women In The World

One of my most successful posts or at least one of the most viewed was my list of this year’s most sexiest women. Like I explained in that post, for me being sexy is not just having a great body with big boobs and an amazing butt. For me sexy is a personality thing, is an attitude. A good sense of humor or a badass attitude are way more sexy than a woman with a big ass.

That’s why I do my list every year where I pick the 100 sexiest women in the world based not only in those qualities, but also in their work every year. Maybe one actress is hotter than other, but she hasn’t done a movie in two years, that makes her go down on the list. Or a singer with no new music or presence in the media will go down as well.  Continue reading

Supergirl TV Show

Supergirl TV Show

A friend of mine told me the other day that a Supergirl TV show was in the making and I can’t believe I didn’t know anything about it!! I did some research and here’s everything I could find!

The series will probably air next year on CBS and it will follow the adventures of a 20-something year old Kara Zor-El who decides to embrace her powers and become a warrior. This will offer some modern superhero drama like other DC Comics shows such as Arrow and more recently The FlashContinue reading

Marvel Massive Movie Crossover

Marvel Movie Crossover

Stan Lee has said in a Q&A session celebrating Spider-Man’s 75th Anniversary that Marvel Studios is very interested in making a movie crossing the Spider-Man franchise, the Marvel Cinematic Universe and FOX properties such as X-Men and Fantastic Four.

I already told you that Captain America 3 is going to be about Civil War and I’d love if they put all these characters together in that movie!!  Continue reading

Grammy 2015 Nominations

Grammy Nominations

Yesterday the nominations for 2015’s Grammy Awards were finally announced and there’re a few surprises! I’ve never known the difference between Song Of The Year and Record Of The Year, so if anyone would tell me in the comments it’d be very nice.

Meghan Trainor got two nominations for her hit All About That Bass and I don’t know why, I know it’s been huge all over the world, but I guess I don’t like so much and I don’t really think it deserves a Grammy.

Ariana Grande has two nominations as well and I know I’ve promised not to talk bad about anyone in this blog so I’m just going to keep my opinion to myself, but you can guess what I think about this.

Beyoncé has FIVE nominations and this makes her the most nominated female artist in the history of the Grammys!! Cool right? Just another record for Queen B’s list!!

Last but not least Iggy Azalea has four nominations, she even got nominated for Best Rap Album!! Haters gonna hate, but I love her and she really deserves that, 2014 has been Iggy’s year and I wish her all the best!

I’m not a huge Taylor Swift fan, but I quite like some of the things I’ve heard from her last album and I have to admit Shake It Off has been stuck in my head since I first listened so congratulations for her three nominations as well!

Check out some of the nomination categories (the ones I really care about) below!! I highlighted my votes in blue so you can see my opinion! Continue reading

ANTM – Cycle 21 Recap + Finale

Lenox - Guess

I am so pissed!!! I know I haven’t done an ANTM recap for a while, but like I’ve told you before I’ve been very busy lately. Since the last episode I reviewed I’ve been more and more disappointed. First Chantalle was saved, then they eliminated Raelia and then Shei and now in the season finale they eliminate Lenox?!?! Is this serious?

Lenox has been my favorite contestant since the beginning of the competition and I’m used to see my favorite losing, but she deserved to at least be on the final three!! I really hated Adam at the beginning, but I started to like him because he changed his act a little bit and started to deliver good photos, but not good enough to be in the top three!  Continue reading

Lana Del Rey – Big Eyes + I Can Fly

Lana Del Rey

Two songs from Tim Burton‘s new movie Big Eyes composed by Lana Del Rey leaked yesterday and they’re beyond amazing!! I love every soundtrack she’s made to date, especially Young & Beautiful from The Great Gatsby. These two songs are just as good as her previous work and I’m in love right now with both of them!

I hope this time she gets at least an Oscar nomination because she deserved it one last year and she didn’t get it because of the time the Gatsby movie premiered.  Continue reading

Suicide Squad Movie Details

Suicide Squad

A few months ago Warner Bros revealed their DC Comics movie schedule. I didn’t report it because I think they’re just copying Marvel and DC movies, except Christopher Nolan‘s Batman trilogy, are not very good. One of the movies that caught my attention though was the Suicide Squad movie, planned for Summer 2016.

Now they’ve revealed the cast for the movie and you won’t believe who’s in!! The movie will be filled with A List stars and it looks really good. I’ve never read any comics, but the storyline is very interesting. For those of you who don’t know what the Suicide Squad is, it’s a group of villains hired by the US Government to work for them so they have prison privileges or their sentences reduced. Check out the cast below!  Continue reading

Celebrating Britney Spears Birthday!!

Britney Spears all eras

Today is my second favorite day in December. It’s Britney Spears’ birthday and she deserves a good celebration!! I’ve done so many lists about her that I didn’t know what to do to make it special, so a decided that I’m just going to share some of my favorite Britney songs from all her eras, from her debut with …Baby One More Time to her latest album Britney Jean.

I’ve loved Britney since I was a kid and I will always love her no matter what, even in her darkest moments I’ve always supported her and I’ll always will. She’s one of the most iconic and influential artists in pop music and you can say whatever you want about her, but you can’t deny that without her the music wouldn’t be what it’s today!  Continue reading

Reincarnation – Chanel

Cara Delevingne - Reincarnation

Cara Delevingne reincarnates Sissi in the new Karl Lagerfeld directed short film for Chanel. She was joined by singer Pharrell Williams and french actress Géraldine Chaplin as Coco Chanel to promote the Chanel Paris-Salzburg 2014/15 Métiers d’art collection. Both Cara and Pharrell will also be the face of the upcoming collection.

The short film is magnificent and tell us the story of how Coco Chanel invented the typical Chanel jacket. It features the song Cc The World sang, written and produced by Pharrell with some vocals by the super model. Check out the full short film below!  Continue reading

[•REC] 4 Review

REC 4

I’m not a big fan of Spanish cinema, but I love horror movies and this saga is amazing!! I can’t believe it’s already been 7 years since the first movie came out and scared the shit out of everyone from Spain and many countries. It was so successful that it even had a Hollywood remake called Quarantine. I always prefer the American versions of horror movies, like The Grudge or The Ring, but in this case I really recommend you to watch the original version!

The second movie wasn’t as good as the first one, but did explain lots of things and why everything happened. It also had a very unexpected ending so it was really good too. Then the third one was an awesome action/zombie-killing movie but it lost the essence of the first two movies so I wouldn’t count it as part of the saga. I really loved it though!  Continue reading

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part I Review

Mockingjay Part 1

Two weekends ago I went to see the new The Hunger Games movie Mockingjay Part I. I haven’t have time to do a review so I’m doing it now. First of all I want to say that I haven’t read the books so I’m judging this movie for what it is, a movie, and not how faithful it is to the book, because, again I haven’t read it.

So, I really liked the first movie of the saga, I even got the DVD. I thought the idea was brilliant and the movie was really awesome. Then I thought I liked the second one too, but while watching the third installment I remembered that I didn’t like it very much. It was too boring and all the action happened in the last 10 minutes.  Continue reading

New Music from Madonna, Gwen Stefani, Rihanna and More!!

Gwen Stefani - Spark The Fire

Hi everyone! First I wanted to apologize for not posting in so long. There’s been a lot happening in the music scene lately and I have a few movie reviews pending, but I’ve been so busy that I haven’t been able to publish anything!

So, this past two weeks we’ve got lots of new music form some of my favorite artists in the world! First Beyoncé released the Platinum Edition from her latest album and the music video for her new single 7/11. I was very excited about this re-release, but after listening to the new songs I’ve decided I’m not going to buy it. First time I listened I hated, like seriously both songs, now I’m obsessed with 7/11. It shows a different side of Bey and it really grew on me with only too listens. Ring Off is not that bad either but for me it’s kind of blah, I get why it wasn’t included in the original album. The remixes are terrible, the only one I was excited about was the Blow remix with Pharrell Williams, but it was just the exact same song with him singing some lines. Anyways, check out the music video for 7/11 below and let me know what do you thing about this re-release in the comments!  Continue reading

The Little Mermaid 25th Anniversary

Today 25 years ago my favorite Disney movie and one of my favorite movies of all time was released. I’ve said it many times and I will never get tired of saying it, in my opinion, The Little Mermaid is the greatest animated movie ever made and I’ve been obsessed with it ever since I first watched it as a kid.

I don’t know what it is that makes this movie so magical. Maybe is that I live in an island and I’ve always admired the ocean and of course I love everything related to magic creatures like mermaids. But I don’t know if my love for all those things came before or after watching this movie.  Continue reading
