ANTM – Cycle 21 – The Boy Who Gets a Second Chance Recap

ANTM - Cycle 21 Ep 02

Last night we finally met the final 14 from America’s Next Top Model cycle 21. I’m really happy with many of the finalists, my favorite girl Lenox made the cut and my favorite boy Ben did it too, I’m also glad that Danny didn’t make it, thanks Tyra Banks for leaving him behind. However I’m very sad they let go of Jamie Rae and L’Meese.

On the other hand I think this cycle will be awesome thanks to Yu Tsai. The legendary fashion photographer is the new creative director of the show’s photoshoots, goodbye Johnny Wujek. Continue reading

2014 MTV Video Music Awards - Red Carpet

This year the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet was full of stars and though some of them didn’t impress me much, there were others that blew me away with their fashion choices. It was really difficult to choose only 10 but I tried to do my best, haha.

So from VMAs regulars like Beyoncé to newbies like Iggy Azalea, here are my Top 10 fashion moments at this year’s show red carpet!  Continue reading

MTV Video Music Awards 2014 Recap

Beyoncé - VMAs 2014

I wasn’t at home Sunday night when this year’s MTV Video Music Awards aired and I’ve been looking all day where to watch them and finally I did. So, I just finished watching the show and though it wasn’t as amazing as they used to be back in the 90s and early 2000s it was much better than last year’s show.

I really liked many of the performances like Taylor Swift and Iggy Azalea with Rita Ora. I disagree with some of the winners, but generally speaking the show was quite good.  Continue reading

The Purge: Anarchy Review

The Purge: Anarchy

I just watched The Purge: Anarchy and I have some mixed feeling about it. I really liked the first movie, but there was something missing on it. I think the idea of this movies is excellent and has a lot of potential. In this one they exploited that potential a little bit more and gave more depth to the plot and we finally get to see what happens to regular people and not only the rich ones.

I love that we get to see the differences between social classes and how they spend the Purge. I also liked how they reflect today’s society in this alternative universe and how these new Founders of the USA use this supposedly “purifying” night to their own benefit getting rid of the poor people.  Continue reading

Top 10 Disney Infinity – Wish List

Disney Infinity

So, Disney Infinity 2.0 is almost here and I’m getting very excited with all the new features. I have to admit that I was a little bit disappointed with the first one, I loved playing the playsets, well, I only played Pirates Of The Caribbean, Monsters University, The Incredibles and Toy Story, but I really enjoyed them.

I also liked all the figures they released in the first game, but I didn’t like much the Toy Box. I consider myself a very creative person and I still found it very difficult to come up with something really cool. I liked some of the other users’ downloadable Toy Boxes, but it didn’t felt like I was playing a video game, most of them were just to explore and there wasn’t anything challenging at all.  Continue reading

Guardians Of The Galaxy Review

Guardians Of The Galaxy

I just came back from the cinema. I finally went to see Marvel‘s Guardians Of The Galaxy and I have to say that I’m a little disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, the movie was good, but I was told it was way better than Avengers and I’m sorry but it isn’t. This movie isn’t by far in my Top 5 Marvel movies, not even counting the Marvel Cinematic Universe only.

Again, it’s a good entertaining movie and it’s very funny too, but there’re moments that the jokes are too forced (I don’t know if this expression exists in English, but I’m going to use it anyway, haha) and sometimes the characters are a little predictable.  Continue reading

Top 10 Red Carpet Looks – Keira Knightley

Keira Knightley

One of my favorite fashion icons is Keira Knightley, I don’t know why I haven’t done this post yet, but now her new movie Begin Again is a hit I think is the right time to do it! I’ve loved her since I saw her in one of her first movies Bend It Like Beckham and I think her style has evolved really well since then.

At every awards ceremony, gala or premiere she’s always one of my favorite picks and she’s worn some of the most beautiful gowns ever made. So here’re my Top 10 Keira’s red carpet moments.  Continue reading

ANTM – Cycle 21 – The Boys R Back Recap

antm cycle 21 ep1

America’s Next Top Model has finally returned!!! Cycle 21 premiered yesterday on The CW and for now I’m all in!! The guys are back and they’re so much better than the guys from las season. However, I think this should be a girls only competition like it used to be.

I already have my favorite and she’s Lenox. She’s my ANTM prototype, the shy awkward but very very beautiful girl who thinks she’s not good enough. And she has a very sad background story so I like her even more. Yes, I’m that kind of viewer, haha. I also liked Kari and Jaime Rae. Jaime Rae’s personality is not very good, but she reminds me a lot to Denise Richards so I like her very much, haha. Continue reading

First Contact with The Sims 4

Rihanna - Sims 4

Yesterday I came back home from a little vacation and I was finally able to download The Sims 4 demo. You can download it for free with Origin. With this demo you can experience the create a Sim tool, which is the most expected change in the game.

I created some random Sims experimenting with the tool, which I find really awesome compered to the sliders from the past Sims, and then tried to create Rihanna because all of the hairstyles the game features reminded me of her. She may not look exactly like her, but I think I did a good job. Game Of Thrones – Season 3 Review

Daenerys Targaryen - GOT S3

OMG! I just finished watching season 3 of Game Of Thrones and I’m SHOCKED!! This season was crazy, it’s my favorite for now and I can’t even think what to say about it, I’m just speechless.

This season was amazing, but I think they should play more with the shock factor, I mean, of course it’s shocking, but they should’ve left the Red Wedding moment for the season finale and not put it in episode 9. After that I could barely pay attention to the final episode because I couldn’t even think. Continue reading

Begin Again (Movie) Review

Begin Again

I went to watch Begin Again today to the cinema and I have to say I’m really surprised. I wanted to see it since I saw the trailer a few weeks ago and Keira Knightley is always a good excuse to watch a movie, but I have to say I loved it more than I thought.

The movie was really really good. The beginning was a little confusing because they mixed some future and past scenes, but when it starts to take form it’s very impressive. Everyone was great, Keira, Mark Ruffalo and Adam Levine. I even liked Hailee Steinfeld, I’ve never been a big fan of her, and I loved Cathernie Keener, I was very happy to see she was on the movie. Continue reading

Top 10 Robin Williams Performances

Robin Williams

This is such a tragic day, the world has lost a very talented and amazing human. I’ve loved Robin Williams almost since I was born. He was one of my childhood heroes, I haven’t seen all of his movies and I haven’t seen his best performances, but I’ll always remember him for movies that made me laugh and made me love this great actor.

I think many of my favorite movies as a child were Robin Williams movies and this tribute list to him is not about his best performances in terms of good acting, but as the great entertainer he was. He touched the souls of many kids from my generation and probably he will continue to do it to kids from newer generations. Continue reading

Sharknado 2: The Second One Review

Sharknado 2

I just watched Sharknado 2: The Second One! I had been waiting for this movie for a long time, but when it finally came out July 31st I completely forgot. Thanks Shark Week for reminding me of the movie and making me watch it instantly!!

I was very disappointed with the first one because I don’t know why but I was expecting a “good” shark movie like Deep Blue Sea or something similar to Piranha 3D. Of course it was just another shark B movie and I love watching them, but I have to admit they’re all really bad. Continue reading

Top 10 Red Carpet Looks – Zoe Saldana

Zoe Saldana

To celebrate the success of Marvel‘s Guardians Of The Galaxy, here’re my top 10 red carpet looks from one of the stars of the movie and sure one of the most beautiful women in the world, Zoe Saldana.

Guardians Of The Galaxy hasn’t been released in Spain yet, the premiere will be August 14th here, but I’ve always liked Zoe and I’m sure she’s gonna be awesome in that movie too. I’ve liked here since one of her first roles in Britney Spears‘ movie Crossroads and I loved her even more recently when she jumped to defend Britney and say she’s got lots of respect for her and that she’s one of the most humbled and greatest people she’s ever met in Hollywood. Continue reading

Game Of Thrones – Season 2 Review

Daenerys Targaryen - GOT S2

I just finished season 2 of Game Of Thrones and though I watched faster than the first one I have to say it was a little more boring, just a little. Still it was amazing! I think the reason why it got a little boring is that nothing really happened. I mean, of course things happened and some of them were really shocking, but nothing happened at a long distance.

The seven kingdoms are at war and that’s all, but what a great war!! The final battle at King’s Landing was awesome!! I loved the wildfire explosions and I was shocked when I thought Tyrion was dead, fortunately he wasn’t!! Continue reading

Top 10 Comics that need a Movie + Actors who should star in them

Soulfire - Michael Turner

There are lots of great comic books that haven’t been adapted into movies yet that I would really like to see in the big screen. Now the superheroes are the biggest Hollywood money makers, but there’re a bunch of indie comics that are awesome too and of course some superheroes that haven’t been on screen yet.

I love strong, powerful and fearless women, those are my favorite characters and I love when they are leading characters in comic books. I also love when superheroes are funny and have a good personality like Spider-ManContinue reading

One of my first posts was a list with my favorite music moments from The OC. I felt like there were many many more great moments than 10 and I promised I was going to do another list. It’s been a long time since that first post and I hadn’t done the part 2 yet, but this is a special post. This is my number 100 post!!!

Game Of Thrones – Season 1 Review

Daenerys Targaryen - GOT

I’ve been refusing to watch Game Of Thrones for a long time. I hate when movies, shows or anything get too popular and nobody talks about anything else, plus I thought it was going to be something similar to The Lord Of The Rings and movies like that, so I didn’t want to see it despite everybody telling me to do so.

Earlier this week I was bored and I didn’t know what movie to watch and I had already seen all the shows I was following, so I decided to give it a try. Thank God I did it!! I fell in love with the series in the first episode. Continue reading
