The Hobbit: The Battle Of Five The Armies Review

The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies

Last night I went to the premiere of The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies. First of all I have to say I’ve never been a fan of The Lord Of The Rings. I fell asleep in the first two movies from the original saga and never saw the third one. I watched the first two movies of The Hobbit with a friend and I really liked them. I found them very entertaining, A little too long maybe, but both of them were really good for me.

As for the last one, I was really excited to see it. A friend of mine bought the tickets a week in advance and we went with a big group of friends to see it yesterday. All of us, except one, were really disappointed with the movie.  Continue reading

Top 10 Best Dressed – 86th Annual Academy Awards

86oscars_logo

I’ve been thinking in resurrecting this blog for a while, but I never had a good idea to begin with. Watching the Oscars last night and all the beautiful fashion the ladies wore I thought : maybe that’s the start I’ve been looking for! So here are my 10 picks for the best dressed from the event.

10. Jennifer Garner

Isn’t she just gorgeous? Jennifer Garner looked amazing in this sparkly and fringy Oscar de la Renta gown. She always looks good and last night she looked amazing!

9. Kate Hudson

Everyone was very impressed with Kate’s look for last night red carpet and so was I. She looked flawless in this silver Versace gown and deserves a spot in every best dressed list.

8. Jessica Biel

It is impossible to think Jessica Biel wouldn’t look good in anything and last night she proved it right! This sparkly Chanel dress is a little boring in my opinion, but Jessica makes it shine bright and it fits perfect on her!

7. Amy Adams

I’m not a very big fan of Amy Adams, to be honest I don’t like her at all, but this Gucci gown is just perfect!

6. Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie proved last night that no matter what she’s wearing she’s an icon and that she’ll always be a goddess. This glittery Elie Saab dress looks gorgeous on her and when you have Brad Pitt as an accessory everything just looks better.

5. Cate Blanchett

Cate Blanchett is style royalty and she didn’t disappoint last night in this Armani Privé gown. She won an award for best actress in a leading role and a spot on everybody’s best dressed list.

4. Emma Watson

Not everyone agrees with me on this one, but I really loved Emma’s choice for last night. This sparkly Vera Wang gown fits her perfectly and didn’t outshine the nominees so good job Hermione!

3. Charlize Theron

Just Amazing! Charlize Theron appeared last night in a gorgeous and sexy Dior gown to remind us that she’s the fairest of them all. Snow White‘s Evil Queen won Maleficent in this round, who’s gonna win the best dressed witch next time?

2. Jennifer Lawrence

She’s one of the most popular girls in Hollywood right now and she wowed everybody again with this gorgeous red Dior gown. It reminds me of Daryl Hannah’s tail in Splash. Jennifer, first the Golden Globes and now this, are you asking for a role as The Little Mermaid?

1. Lupita Nyong’o

I’ve been loving Lupita since the 2014 award season started. She’s had some of the best red carpet looks in every award show and everyone was waiting to see what she was going to were last night. The wait was worth it! Lupita looked as a modern princess in this beautiful Prada gown with a diamond headband just like Cinderella. Wouldn’t she be the perfect Tiana for a life-action version of The Princess And The Frog?
