So, yesterday I did the part one of a list with my Top 10 music picks from the 80’s. Check it out here! I chose songs from the first half of the decade (1980-1984) so I could have more variety and promise to do the second part of the list soon.
Don’t wait more, here are the Top 10 Smashes from the second half of the 80’s (1985-1989). Again I only chose one song per artist to include as many different styles as possible!
This morning I was feeling a little nostalgic and I decided to take a look at my last year’s Walt Disney World photos. It was the second time I’ve been there, first time was in 2001 when I was 9 years old.
It was very different from the first time, they had this New Fantasyland, which I fell in love with, but where I noticed the most differences was in the merchandising and stuff they sell now. Back in 2001 they had everything from every Disney movie and now they only have stuff from the new movies, Pixar movies and Disney Channel shows.
What I didn’t like at all was that they didn’t have any The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas or Sleeping Beauty merchandising, they only had Disney Princess stuff and everything was pink or sparkly, I could only get an Ariel keyring, but it was sparkly…
Anyways, I did have a great time because I could enjoy all the rides that I was afraid as a kid and the new ones they have. So here’re my Top 10 Walt Disney World rides from the four Disney Parks: Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom and Epcot. Find out below:
I finally got time to listen to Michael Jackson‘s posthumous album Xscape. The songs don’t have a strong connection between each other, it’s more like it was a compilation album. I guess it’s because the demos they used are from different eras. Like I said in the post I did when the album was announced, the only thing I don’t like is the cover, that picture is awful! They could’ve used any other Michael photo for the cover.
As I predicted, the original demos are way better than the new “modernized” versions, thank god they included them in the album! I really like the single version of Love Never Felt So Good with Justin Timberlake though.
Yesterday Michael Jackson‘s duet with Justin TimberlakeLove Never Felt So Good was released and I like it a lot! I wasn’t very in favor of this project, but I like the stuff that have been coming out so far. I loved the song that was leaked last month and shares the album title Xscape and I like this duet with JT.
Album producer and Epic Records CEO L.A. Reid said that the album will consist on previously unreleased songs recorded by the King of Pop. He says the songs have been “contemporized”, which I hated, but then I was so happy to find out they’re releasing the original versions with the deluxe edition!
I know you all have probably heard about Michael Jackson‘s new album that is gonna be released this year. It will consist on a series of reworked old demos that Michael recorded. At first I wasn’t very convinced about this project, but I’ve listened to what it’s supposed to be the first single Xscape and I really really like it! You can listen here!
What I like the most about this is that this is a normal and classic Michael Jackson song and not like they did with Hold My Hand, which has nothing to do with Michael’s style. They tried to make a contemporary song and they created the worst song I’ve heard from the King.
