Last Sunday the Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG) took place and the red carpet shined again full of some of the biggest movies and TV superstars. I love award season because everyone is experimenting with what they wear and although some of them fail to impress there are others that really shine bright with their looks.
Here are my top 10 best dressed celebrities from this year’s SAG Awards red carpet! Continue reading →
Hi everyone! This is my first post of the year so happy 2015 to all of you!! I’ve been very busy catching up with all my illustration classes and I have lots of works to do so I’m so sorry I haven’t been posting much lately.
As you all probably know by now, I love to do my own Red Carpet coverage whenever an important event takes place, but the last events of 2014 didn’t have enough good fashions to write about them.
Last night this finally changed and the 2015 Golden Globes shined with everyone’s favorite stars from both movies and television. There were lots of fashion hits and also some misses, so here are my ten picks for the best fashion choices from the event. Continue reading →
Today is the 34th birthday of one of my favorite singers, Christina Aguilera. She’s been in the shadow of other artists like Britney Spears or Lady Gaga all her career, but unlike those she really has an outstanding voice and is highly talented. Don’t get me wrong, you all know by now that I LOVE Britney above all other artists in the pop music industry, but I have to be objective and we all know she doesn’t have the greatest of voices, which doesn’t mean she can’t sing, she can and I love her voice, but Christina’s voice is just amazing. No wonder why she’s been named The Voice Of A Generation.
She’s known to be shady and very rude, but I don’t know her personally so I’m not gonna judge her for that. I’ve always loved her music since I was a kid and I love all her albums. Some more than others, Lotus was a big disappointment for me, but in general they’re all pretty amazing, especially Stripped and Back To Basics. Continue reading →
Tomorrow 2014’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show finally airs!! This year Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima are wearing the Fantasy Bras and the show will count with musical performances by Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Hozier and Ariana Grande.
To celebrate and count the hours down till we can see the show I decided to do a Top 10 with my favorite angels of all time!! It’s been almost 20 years since the angels began to delight us with their presence and there have been many that have left scars in our hearts and others that are still doing it! Continue reading →
A few days ago I told you how much I love horror movies and that it’s one of my favorite movie genres, but my true favorite movies are the animated movies! I was thinking about my favorite animated movies and it was very difficult to choose only ten to do a Top 10, but I did my best to put some of what I consider the best animated movies there are and put them on this list.
I’ve always preferred traditional animation and I don’t like that it’s being forgotten nowadays. There’re not many new traditional movies today, everything is on 3D and CGI, which is great too, but I just prefer traditional, I find it more special, maybe because I love drawing and hope to become a good illustrator. I really like Halloween, but I don’t get why people celebrate it here in Spain. It’s not a Spanish tradition, it’s just an excuse to get drunk and dress up. In Canary Islands we already have Carnaval to do that and to be honest it’s one of the best festivities we have!!
Like I said I really like Halloween and I like watching all the decorations in movies and TV shows, the costumes that celebrities wear and all that stuff, I like to watch it as an outsider and not celebrating it because it’s not part of my culture. So, unlike many others I prefer staying at home and watch horror movies. Continue reading →
Last night was the second part of the premiere of The Voice with new coaches Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams. I only watched the first season of this show because of Christina Aguilera, it was good, but not good enough to keep watching for 7 seasons.
I did watch these two episodes because I’ve always loved Gwen and No Doubt and I wanted to see her on TV. The best thing that comes out of this is that she’s announced she’s working in both a new solo album and a new No Doubt album!!! Isn’t this awesome??? Continue reading →
Sienna Miller is one of my favorite actresses of all time and, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful and stylish women in the planet. I fell in love with her back in 2004 when the movie Alfie came out, she was amazing in that movie and after that I followed and loved many of her works like Factory Girl and Interview.
She soon became a huge influence in fashion and one of the favorite cover girls for every magazine, from Vogue to Esquire or GQ. She also developed her own style, in my opinion she has one of the best street styles in Hollywood. Continue reading →
Season premieres of all my favorite TV shows are finally coming next week. Well, some of them like Game Of Thrones will not return until next year, but there’re many shows to check out while you’re waiting.
I chose some of the shows I’m already watching and some of the new shows that I’m very excited to watch. There’re also some series that I stopped watching because I got tired of them or they were getting very bad, like for example Hart Of Dixie and Cougar Town. Continue reading →
Beyoncé‘s birthday is over, but what good celebration doesn’t last for more than one day? I realized the other day that I’ve never done a Top 10 with my favorite Queen B singles and that’s terrible!
I did a countdown with my favorite Bey songs of all time waiting for the date of her concert in Lisbon back in April, but I had to delete those posts because I didn’t think fit well the thematic of this blog. Continue reading →
Today is Beyoncé‘s 33rd birthday and she deserves a good celebration. She’s been one of my favorite artists since I was a kid and her music has been a huge influence in my life. Since she started with Destiny’s Child until today she’s remained one of the most successful females in pop music.
But it’s not only her music what makes me love her so much. Her style and her persona are a big part of her reign, as you know she’s Queen B, and I decided to celebrate her birthday choosing my favorite red carpet looks she’s worn over the years. Continue reading →
Yesterday the 66th Annual Emmy Awards took place and reunited the biggest stars from TV. Though I thought many of them didn’t shine as bright as I was expecting, some other did impress me with their red carpet choices. In the end I chose the 10 best head to toe looks.
Game Of Thrones actresses are winning this year, but, who’s gonna take the best dressed award? Here’re the top 10 best dressed of last night show! Continue reading →
This year the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet was full of stars and though some of them didn’t impress me much, there were others that blew me away with their fashion choices. It was really difficult to choose only 10 but I tried to do my best, haha.
So from VMAs regulars like Beyoncé to newbies like Iggy Azalea, here are my Top 10 fashion moments at this year’s show red carpet! Continue reading →
One of my favorite fashion icons is Keira Knightley, I don’t know why I haven’t done this post yet, but now her new movie Begin Again is a hit I think is the right time to do it! I’ve loved her since I saw her in one of her first movies Bend It Like Beckham and I think her style has evolved really well since then.
At every awards ceremony, gala or premiere she’s always one of my favorite picks and she’s worn some of the most beautiful gowns ever made. So here’re my Top 10 Keira’s red carpet moments. Continue reading →
This is such a tragic day, the world has lost a very talented and amazing human. I’ve loved Robin Williams almost since I was born. He was one of my childhood heroes, I haven’t seen all of his movies and I haven’t seen his best performances, but I’ll always remember him for movies that made me laugh and made me love this great actor.
I think many of my favorite movies as a child were Robin Williams movies and this tribute list to him is not about his best performances in terms of good acting, but as the great entertainer he was. He touched the souls of many kids from my generation and probably he will continue to do it to kids from newer generations. Continue reading →
To celebrate the success of Marvel‘s Guardians Of The Galaxy, here’re my top 10 red carpet looks from one of the stars of the movie and sure one of the most beautiful women in the world, Zoe Saldana.
Guardians Of The Galaxy hasn’t been released in Spain yet, the premiere will be August 14th here, but I’ve always liked Zoe and I’m sure she’s gonna be awesome in that movie too. I’ve liked here since one of her first roles in Britney Spears‘ movie Crossroads and I loved her even more recently when she jumped to defend Britney and say she’s got lots of respect for her and that she’s one of the most humbled and greatest people she’s ever met in Hollywood. Continue reading →
It’s been a while since I last did a post like this. I’ve been wanting to do more but I had no suggestions so I decided to focus this one on Blake Lively. She’s had some of the most iconic looks this year so far and she’s prove herself to be a true fashion icon.
Since she was the star of Gossip Girl until today she’s got many great and memorable fashion moments, so today I’m counting down my Top 10 favorites!
I’v always complained about Rihanna releasing a new album every year, I like when artists take time to make music, plus with an album per year she had singles coming almost every month and it’s kind of tiring. In fact there was a time when I got sick of her music because of that reason.
However, it’s been almost two years since her last album Unapologetic came out and I miss new music from her!! I think this last album was one of her best ones and can’t wait to see and of course listen to what she’s creating for the next one.
One of the first posts I ever posted on this blog was a Top 10 list of female heroes from my favorite comics. (Check it out here!)
The truth is that I normally tend to like more the villains than the heroes and I don’t know why did it take me so long to do a list with my favorite ones. This happens to me not only reading comics, in movies and especially TV shows I always like the villains more than the heroes, my friends always tell me that if we lived in a comic book or a fantasy show I would be a villain, haha.
OMG!!! I can’t believe this is finally happening!!! It’s been seven years since Hilary Duff released her last studio album and as you may know, she’s been working on new music for a while. She has uploaded pictures with Ed Sheeran and different writers and producers to her Instagram and now she has announced that her first single is arriving next week!!
I’m shock!! I’ve been waiting for new Hilary music since forever and I can’t believe it’s going to be here so soon!! According to Voss NY City she’ll be premiering the new song, the collab with Sheeran on Thursday at Marquee and she’s already confirmed it via Twitter!!
