Animal Review

2-frenchLast week I watched Animal, a new horror movie produced by Drew Barrymore. I’ve always loved Drew, so I got very curious when I discovered she was producing a horror movie.

The cast also caught my attention, I really liked Keke Palmer in the TLC movie and I was curious to see Jeremy Sumpter (A.K.A. Peter Pan) all grown up.

100 Sexiest Women Of 2014

Captura de pantalla 2014-06-26 a las 19.34.03

Every year Maxim, FHM, Esquire, GQ and many men magazine release their lists of the hottest or sexiest women in the world. I rarely agree with all their lists, they choose women with big boobs and gigantic asses, but in my opinion, a good sense of humor and good looks is way more sexy than that.

That’s why every year I do my own list of women with my own concept of what is sexy in mind. I know sometimes my taste is odd, but I hope you enjoy this list of amazing and talented women and share your thoughts with me in the comments.

Beyoncé & Jay-Z – On The Run

Beyoncé and Jay-Z kicked off their summer tour On The Run last night in Miami. As you may know, I went to see Beyoncé las April in Lisbon. It was the last concert of her Mrs. Carter world tour and it was incredibly amazing. So, when I found out they were going to make another tour together I freaked out. Unfortunately they’re only touring in America and Paris.

Anyways, I don’t know many of the Jay songs, but Bey’s set is amazing!!! She’s singing a lot of my favorites that she didn’t sing on her tour, I especially love that she’s singing many of her B’Day hits. Check out the setlist and some photos of the concert below:

The Other Woman Review

I finally got to watch The Other Woman! I’ve been wanting to go to the cinema since it came out, but all my friends are busy with their exams and I couldn’t find someone free until today.

The only reason I wanted to watch this movie was Cameron Diaz, she’s my all time favorite actress and I mostly love all her movies, but her latest comedies have been a little bit disappointing. This one, on the other hand, was great! I loved it. I laughed a lot and the story and performances were great. I even liked Kate Upton, hell, I even liked Nicki Minaj, she was funny enough, but her butt was too distracting though.

Jennifer Lopez – A.K.A. Review

O-M-G! This is worse than I expected! I thought after all her attempts to remind us she’s just the Same Girl, this album was gonna be good. Unfortunately Jennifer Lopez‘s new album A.K.A. is, in my opinion, her worst album yet. Please notice that I’m not hating on her, I’m just telling my opinion and I used to be a huge JLo fan, but this, this is terrible!

Top 10 Songs for the Summer

Last week I had my last exam and yesterday was my last day of classes, that means summer is finally here! Last night I was so excited that I created my ultimate Summer playlist on my iTunes and decided to show my top 10 songs for the Summer!

These songs are not necessarily Summer hits, they’re songs I like to listen to when I have my Summer mode on, at the beach, laying by the pool… Luckily for me I live in an island, that means I get to go to the beach whenever I want, and now that I’m totally free I’ll try to go as much as possible. Here’s one of my favorite beaches in the south of Gran Canaria, it’s called El Cochino and though sometimes it’s a little windy, I love it!

I usually go every other weekend to my grandma’s holiday house in the countryside. When I was a kid I used to spend the whole Summer there while my mom was working, but now I go when the weather is good to spend time with the family at the pool.

Anyway, I’ll stop talking about me and start talking about the songs that I picked for this list. Here are my Top 10 songs for the Summer! Find out below:

Top 10 Jennifer Lopez Songs

Jennifer Lopez is releasing her new album A.K.A. next week and this is an album I’m very curious about. I used to be a huge JLo fan when I was a kid, she has some of the greatest hits of modern pop history, but lately, especially since she joined forces with Pitbull, she’s been such a mediocre artist and has become so desperate for attention that I can’t even stand her. Just take a look at the cover of the album, please.

Anyways, I’m curious about this album because she seems to be going back to her roots, or at least that’s what I hope. You can see it in her promotional single Same Girl and the outfits she’s been wearing lately similar to her famous Versace Grammy dress from 2000. Also I’ve been very obsessed with her song I Luh Ya Papi, I know, I’m the worst, but I can’t help it!

So here’re my top 10 JLo songs from all time, of course they’re all from back in the day so don’t expect to see any Pitbull collaboration on this list. Find out below:

[UPDATE] Lana Del Rey – Ultraviolence Review

Last Friday, Lana Del Rey‘s new album Ultraviolence finally came out. I’ve been listening to it the whole weekend and I have to say I’m a little bit disappointed. I don’t hate it, but I don’t love it either. Maybe I had too high expectations, I don’t know, but it isn’t as good as I wanted it to be.

Britney Spears – Greatest Hits: My Prerogative DVD Review

Yesterday I bought Britney SpearsGreatest Hits: My Prerogative DVD. I’ve seen it many times in different music stores, but I never bought it because I’ve always thought it was just a compilation of music videos. Yesterday I had some extra money and it had a low price so I bought it and when I saw it today I was fully surprised. It has lots of extras for most of the music videos and it was awesome to see how many of them would’ve been even greater than they already are.

X-Men: Days Of Future Past Review

The wait is finally over!! Today was the premiere of X-Men Days Of Future Past here in Spain and I had to see it as soon as possible. I’ve been waiting for this movie since the storyline of the Days Of Future Past comics was announced. It was supposed to be released May 25th in the world premiere of the movie, but it was delayed until today so I’ve been waiting longer than others.

Lets start saying that X-Men are my favorite Marvel heroes so this movie is a very big deal for me. I did notice that the movie was a rectification of all the mistakes they made with The Last Stand and First Class. Thank you Bryan Singer for saving and reviving this franchise that, in my opinion, died along with all the main characters in the last installment of the original X-Men trilogy.

Top 10 Bubblegum Pop Anthems

As I’ve said many times, the 90s is my favorite decade in terms of music, movies, fashion and everything. One of the best things of the 90s was the beginning of the new Bubblegum Pop music genre that was made popular by teen artists like Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and the boy band and girl ban phenomenon at the end of the 90s and the early 2000s.

I loved this kind of music growing up and I still enjoy listening to it from time to time. Today is one of those days when I feel like a teenager again and I only want to listen to all these songs. So here are my Top 10 favorite bubblegum pop songs! find out below:

Lana Del Rey – Ultraviolence Preview

I don’t know if you guys are excited, but I can’t wait for next week!! Lana Del Rey‘s upcoming album is set to be released on June 13th, next Friday and I’m freaking out!! Today she released the title song Ultraviolence and it’s AMAZING.

The album already has two singles: West Coast, peaking at 17 in the Hot 100, and Shades Of Cool, released last week. I love both singles, but this new song is really making me fall in love with the album already! It looks like it’s gonna be good and maybe even better than her first album Born To Die.

Top 10 Red Carpet Looks – Rihanna

I don’t know why everybody is so shocked with Rihanna‘s choice for the CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday night. We all know she’s a risk taker and a bit of a exhibitionist. I really liked the dress and I don’t care her boobs or her butt were showing, she did look amazing and she has a the perfect body for that dress.

Anyways, she was awarded with the Fashion Icon Award given by Anna Wintour herself. And in the time we live in, I think she truly deserves it. I don’t see her as a classic fashion icon like Audrey Hepburn and not even more modern actresses with iconic style like Sarah Jessica Parker, but fashion has evolved in so many ways that she’s made her style unique and iconic.

So, to celebrate her award, I decided to choose my Top 10 favorite red carpet looks ever.

Lola XOXO #1 Review

I just got a copy of Aspen ComicsLola XOXO issue 1, you can download it today on Comixology’s Summer Reading List”. I’ve been waiting a long time to read this, Aspen hasn’t published anything in Spain after Fathom‘s Vol. 2, so I can only read what I find online or some of the issues I’ve purchased in London.

Anyways, I’ve been following artist Siya Oum for a while and I just love her style. It’s very similar to Michael Turner‘s who is my all time favorite comic book artist, but what she does with colors is amazing. I love that she mainly uses traditional techniques to color her pieces and, when I learned that she was working on her own comic series and that she was going to do it all alone and everything traditional, I got very excited.

Top 10 Universal Studios Orlando Rides

Hello everyone! I know I’ve been out for a long time, but I’ve been very busy with my classes and I also bought the new Pokemon game last week and I’ve been spending my little free time playing.

Anyways, a few weeks ago I posted my Top 10 Walt Disney World rides and promised I’d do a Top 10 Universal Studios rides soon, so here are them!

I’m choosing rides from both Universal Studios and Islands Of Adventure theme parks, including all of the different islands from the second park, that means there’s going to be a lot of Harry Potter here!!

Like I did in the Disney World post, I’m going to describe my experience at Universal Orlando.

First time I was there I was 9 years old and again, I didn’t take any ride because I was scared. Last year with 21 years old I went again and had the time of my life! The difference with Disney parks is that it’s more focused on the Roller Coasters and the adrenaline part of the theme parks more than to enjoy yourself and letting your inner child live for a few days.

This time The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter was added as one of the islands from Islands Of Adventure and that’s what I enjoyed the most along with the Marvel Superhero Island.

I also loved The Simpsons zone they’re building at Universal Studios, but it wasn’t finished yet. The only thing that I didn’t like is that they closed the JAWS ride, which I was dying to take since I didn’t when I was a kid. so lets have it as a honorable mention. I saw the video my uncle took in the ride when I was little and it was so good.

So let’s begin with the list! Find out below:
