Madonna – Living For Love

Madonna has finally released the official music video for Living For Love, the first single of her upcoming album, Rebel Heart. The album is coming March 10 and I can’t wait to listen to all the new songs. Remember she already released six songs due to the leaks of her demos and they’re all amazing so this album looks great!

In the new video she dresses up as a bullfighter as a critique to the human being, for being the cruelest animal on earth. At the end of the video she quotes Nietzsche and I really liked what she did with it. I completely agree with what she’s saying and denouncing in this video and I think visually it was amazing too. Watch the full video below! Continue reading

Top 20 Madonna Singles + Rebel Heart Track List

Madonna has revealed the full track list of her upcoming album Rebel Heart. I’m loving the six songs she’s already released and I can’t wait for the full album, which is set for March 10. She’ll be performing the first single of the album Living For Love at the Grammys and the music video is rumored to hit the internet February 14.

I’m in love with all I’ve listened to from this new era from the Queen of Pop and I really want to see what else she’s got in her pocket. I can’t wait to see all the surprises she has for her fans. Check out the full track list of the album below! Continue reading

Madonna – Rebel Heart Preview

Madonna - Rebe Heart

Following Madonna‘s will I haven’t posted anything about the leak of 13 demos from her new album a few days ago. The Queen of Pop was very upset and asked to all her true fans to not listen to them claiming that they were just unfinished demos and nothing like the final product.

In response to the leaks she has now released 6 tracks herself on iTunes and I have to say that I’m really loving this preview of the album. It was rumored to be called Unapologetic Bitch or Iconic, but Madonna has revealed that it’s called Rebel Heart, which is the name of the first track that leaked weeks ago.  Continue reading

Britney Spears feat. Iggy Azalea + Women’s Health Cover

Britney Spears ft. Iggy Azalea

Britney Spears looks amazing on the cover of Women’s Health January 2015 issue and it looks like 2015 is going to be Britney’s year!! We’ve been hearing all kinds of rumors lately and one of them was finally confirmed!! It looks like a collaboration between the Princess of Pop and Iggy Azalea has been recorded and apparently it’s awesome!!

The Australian rapper confirmed it on her Twitter and it’s rumored to be released early on next year as the first single from Britney’s new album. This album has been very secretive and she hasn’t hint as many clues as she did with Britney Jean, so I don’t know what to expect from it!! I heard William Orbit is one of the main producers of the album so I’m just crying tears of happiness!! She should’ve taken him instead of Will.I.Am for her las album, he’s just amazing!! He produced Alien and also Madonna‘s Ray Of Light album, which is my favorite album from her!! Continue reading

New Music from Madonna, Gwen Stefani, Rihanna and More!!

Gwen Stefani - Spark The Fire

Hi everyone! First I wanted to apologize for not posting in so long. There’s been a lot happening in the music scene lately and I have a few movie reviews pending, but I’ve been so busy that I haven’t been able to publish anything!

So, this past two weeks we’ve got lots of new music form some of my favorite artists in the world! First Beyoncé released the Platinum Edition from her latest album and the music video for her new single 7/11. I was very excited about this re-release, but after listening to the new songs I’ve decided I’m not going to buy it. First time I listened I hated, like seriously both songs, now I’m obsessed with 7/11. It shows a different side of Bey and it really grew on me with only too listens. Ring Off is not that bad either but for me it’s kind of blah, I get why it wasn’t included in the original album. The remixes are terrible, the only one I was excited about was the Blow remix with Pharrell Williams, but it was just the exact same song with him singing some lines. Anyways, check out the music video for 7/11 below and let me know what do you thing about this re-release in the comments!  Continue reading

Top 10 80’s Smashes pt. 2

Michael Jackson - Bad

So, yesterday I did the part one of a list with my Top 10 music picks from the 80’s. Check it out here! I chose songs from the first half of the decade (1980-1984) so I could have more variety and promise to do the second part of the list soon.

Don’t wait more, here are the Top 10 Smashes from the second half of the 80’s (1985-1989). Again I only chose one song per artist to include as many different styles as possible!

maxresdefault

I’ve been writing this blog for a few months now and I’ve already picked my favorite songs from two decades, the 90’s (check them out here: pt.1/pt.2) and the 2000’s (check them out here: pt.1/pt.2).

Though I didn’t grow up in the 80’s it was about time I did a list with my favorite songs from that decade. I love how it affected not only in the music, but in the fashion and the society.

Top 10 Britney Spears Singles

Today I’ve been listening to Britney Spears music all day. It’s been a while since I give Brit a good listen and I remember few months ago I did a Top 10 with Britney’s non single songs, but I’ve never done a singles Top 10.

So, I decided it was time I did this. I mean, Britney has some of the most iconic songs of pop music’s history and she sure is one of the most important icons in pop culture.

Top 10 Hits from the 2000s pt. 1

Brit

One of the things I miss the most from the 2000s is the music. Especially in the beginning of the decade. To me, now all the music sounds alike and there are no big hits like in the past. Now everyone can get a number 1, even if the song is about a dog or a cat.

I’ve been listening to a lot of songs from the past decade lately and I decided to do a Top10 with my favorites. I will include only one song from every artists, because if I chose various songs, the whole list would be filled with Britney songs. So here it is!!

Top 10 Females in Pop Music

I love pop music and I think the girls are reigning since the beginning of the 21st century. This women domination started whit Britney & Xtina, there of course were some big predecessors like Janet or Madonna, but this new era started with them and later on came all this female superstars we know today.

So I decided to do a top 10 with my favorite female artists in pop music. Some of them might be very popular right now and some of them may not, but they sure have had great careers and deserve recognition.

10. Nelly Furtado

She might not be very popular right now, but remember her golden era when she had all those hits on her album Loose. I love her music and though I didn’t like much her Spanish album, she had some hits on there too! Her latest album had some good songs too, so I can’t wait for her to come with something even better.

Favorite Songs: Say It Right, Promiscuous, Fly Like A Bird

9. Miley Cyrus

I love Miley since she was still on Disney Channel. I love her past albums a lot, but Bangerz is truly one of my favorite records from last year! I wasn’t really bothered by all the sexual attention she was causing, but I’m starting to get a little bit pissed with the things she’s doing on her tour. Just let her be and she’ll stop doing things like that. The truth is that she’s got a great voice and makes great music, why care about other things?

Favorite Songs: #GETITRIGHT, Bangerz, Bottom Of The Ocean

8. Kylie Minogue

She’s the Australian Queen and she’s had so many hits that it’s impossible not to include her in this list. I love her Fever and Body Language eras, but my favorite album of Kylie is the late 90s Impossible Princess. Her latest album and the new one she released last week weren’t as good as her past work, but I’m sure she’ll bring us something great again soon!

Favorite Songs: Cowboy Style, I Can’t Get You Out Of My Head, Slow

7. Rihanna

She’s the queen of the charts right now, everything she does is a hit and all the artists are fighting to feature her on their records. I love everything she’s done since she started in 2005 with Pon De Replay. Her songs, sometimes, get a little bit boring or repetitive, but that’s because we hear them everywhere we go! On the radio, at the clubs, on TV. She’s just reigning the music industry right now and she will continue for sure.

Favorite Songs: Diamonds, Unfaithful, Take A Bow

6. Gwen Stefani

I love Gwen as a solo artist and with No Doubt. She’s one of my favorite female artists because of her unique style and the amazing music she does. Even today I listen to all her songs like they were new! I wish she released more albums by herself, but with only two albums she’s already gained a place on this list and our hearts.

Favorite Songs: Hollaback Girl, Cool, 4 In The Morning

5. Christina Aguilera

Like I’ve said before, it all started with Britney and Xtina. She’s got one of the greatest voices of all time and though her last album wasn’t very good, everything she’s done is beyond amazing! Stripped and Back To Basics are two of the greatest albums in pop history and her song writing on both albums is amazing. She’s now finished her work on The Voice, so I’m hoping she’ll come up with something great soon!

Favorite Songs: Can’t Hold Us Down, I’m Ok, Candyman

4. Beyoncé

As you may already know, I love Beyoncé! I can’t wait to see her on tour later this month. I’ve loved her since she was on Destiny’s Child, but her solo career is even greater than the girl band’s. I love all the albums she’s released and her newest stuff is just crazy!!! But in my heart I will always love her first two albums more than anything! She’s evolved a lot and in a good way as an artist, but those two albums are just unbeatable!

Favorite Songs: Crazy In Love, Deja Vu, Partition

3. Madonna

She’s the real QUEEN of pop and she’s known how to reinvent herself every time she puts on a new record! All of her albums are amazing, but I specially like her late 90s and early 2000s era. She’s still one of the most relevant females in pop and she’ll always be the queen. I’ve heard she’s working on new music and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with this time. One thing is clear, it’ll be amazing!

Favorite Songs: Drowned World, Don’t Tell Me, American Life

2. Mariah Carey

I have to say my obsession with Mariah is quite new. I started listening to her music over a year ago and I fell in love with everything she’s done! Her flawless voice is the best voice my ears have ever heard and her songwriting and producing skills are just amazing. One of the things I love the most about MC is that she’s true to her artistry and would never sell herself to get a number one or more sales. I love her latest single You’re Mine (Eternal) and though it didn’t do so well on the charts I don’t care and neither should she! Her music is a gift and I have to thank her for making it! I can’t wait for the new album Mimi!

Favorite Songs: Always Be My Baby, Emotions, We Belong Together

1. Britney Spears

Again, it all started with her! Britney is and will always be the princess of pop and though you may not like her, or she might not have a great voice, she was the one that open the path for all the artists that are coming today. I know Madonna opened it for Britney, but it was Britney the one that changed the rules and reigned over a decade! Her latest album Britney Jean was a little disappointing for me because I was expecting something more personal like she said, but it still has great songs on it! Everything she’s done since the beginning is amazing pop music and I don’t care what all the haters say, she’ll always be an icon and she’ll always be relevant, without her the music industry wouldn’t be where it is right now and you better thank her for being as amazing as she is!

Favorite Songs: I’m A Slave 4 U, Piece Of Me, Me Against The Music

????????????????

Do you agree with my list? I missed some of my favorite artists like Lana Del Rey, but she only got one album and we’ve known her for a short time. Maybe when she releases Ultraviolence she’ll find her spot on my list!

Like I always say this is based on my personal opinion only! Hope you enjoy reading!
