Off for a while!!

Hey guys I’m coming with bad news. I have too many things going on with my classes and now we have to start with the final project and I’m very stressed out. We’re creating a blog for my Digital Design class and it has to be from Blogger and not WordPress, plus it has to be in Spanish.

I can’t keep up with two blogs so I’m going to have to stop posting on this one for a while. If you are still interested in the stuff I regularly post here you might want to check out my other blog. If you don’t speak Spanish you can use the translator on the bottom of the page.

Check it put here: http://pabloperezz-drownedworld.blogspot.com.es/

It’s been a great experience writing this blog and sharing my taste in music, movies, comics, fashion and everything with you. Thanks for reading and hope you enjoy my other blog as much as this one!

Madonna – Living For Love

Madonna has finally released the official music video for Living For Love, the first single of her upcoming album, Rebel Heart. The album is coming March 10 and I can’t wait to listen to all the new songs. Remember she already released six songs due to the leaks of her demos and they’re all amazing so this album looks great!

In the new video she dresses up as a bullfighter as a critique to the human being, for being the cruelest animal on earth. At the end of the video she quotes Nietzsche and I really liked what she did with it. I completely agree with what she’s saying and denouncing in this video and I think visually it was amazing too. Watch the full video below! Continue reading

Rihanna – FourFiveSeconds Music Video

Just a week after premiering the first single from her upcoming album, known as #R8 in social media, Rihanna has released the official music video for the song. Like I said in the post that I wrote when the song was released, I didn’t like it much at the beginning, but I have to admit that, after listening to it a few more times, I’m really loving it now.

The music video is really cool. It shows us the singer’s softer side, it’s natural, vulnerable and very raw. I love the direction she’s going with this album and I can’t wait to listen to it completely! Check out the music video for FourFiveSeconds below! Continue reading

First Frozen Fever stills

Frozen Fever

A few months back I told you Disney was planning to release a new Frozen short this year. The short is called Frozen Fever and it was directed by the same team that worked in the movie. Like I told you on my previous post, it’s going to be centered around Anna’s birthday party and all of our favorite characters will be there.

Today the first stills of the short were released and I can’t wait to see the final result!! It’s going to premiere in front of Disney’s latest live-action adaptation of the classic Cinderella on March 13.

Check out all the new pictures below!! Continue reading

Top 10 Best Dressed – 21st Screen Actors Guild Awards

Emma Stone - SAG Awards 2015

Last Sunday the Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG) took place and the red carpet shined again full of some of the biggest movies and TV superstars. I love award season because everyone is experimenting with what they wear and although some of them fail to impress there are others that really shine bright with their looks.

Here are my top 10 best dressed celebrities from this year’s SAG Awards red carpet!  Continue reading

Disney casts Emma Watson as Belle

Emma Watson

Disney is planning a live action reboot of their biggest and most beloved classics Beauty And The Beast. They’re continuing with their latest trend of adapting their animated classics into big budget Hollywood live action movies that started last year with Maleficent and followed by this year’s Cinderella, which opens March 13.

For this new project they’ve officially chosen the Harry Potter star Emma Watson as the lead female character. I love Emma and I think she’ll be perfect playing Belle in this movie.  Continue reading

FourFiveSeconds – Rihanna (Feat. Kanye West & Paul McCartney)

FourFiveSeconds - Rihanna

Good news to all Rihanna fans all over the world! The singer dropped yesterday what seems to be the first single of her upcoming eighth studio album rumored to be called #R8. The song is a collaboration with rapped Kanye West and british legend Paul McCartney.

I’m very shocked with the song and I still don’t know wether I like it or hate it. It has a big country influence and that’s what turns me off. It’s a ballad with very simple instrumentation and though I love Riri’s vocals on the song I don’t like Kanye’s singing voice. I think he’s a good rapper and I love many of his Rap songs, especially his previous collaborations with Rihanna, but this one is really weird in my opinion! Continue reading

Britney Spears tops Billboard’s Best of 2010s (So Far) Polls

Britney Spears has demonstrated she’s still got it and she’s still relevant. She’s won over big stars like Beyoncé or Rihanna on Billboard‘s Best of 2010s (So Far) polls. They chose a list of 10 best songs, best albums, best music videos and most defining artist of this first half of the decade and readers voted their three favorites.

The results are in and Britney is on top of three of the four lists. She won best song with Till The World Ends, best video with Work Bitch and most defining artist of the decade (so far). Haters gonna hate, but Britney is still the Princess of Pop and she’s still one of the most influential artists of all time. Check the full lists below!  Continue reading

X-Men: Apocalypse casting

X-Men

Rumors have been floating that Halle Berry, Famke Janssen and James Marsden were going to be replaced in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse movie. I didn’t believe it, because of how X-Men: Days Of Future Past ended. It fixed all the mess that The Last Stand left and I was very happy that the original cast was coming back.

However, the director Brian Singer announced yesterday that a new generation of actors has joined the cast of Apocalypse to play the roles of Storm, Jean Grey and Cyclops. I don’t know wether they will replace the original cast or they will be playing younger versions of the characters, I hope the second.

I have to say that, although I prefer the original cast, I’m quite happy with the choices they made here. Check the casting for these mutants below! Continue reading

Top 20 Madonna Singles + Rebel Heart Track List

Madonna has revealed the full track list of her upcoming album Rebel Heart. I’m loving the six songs she’s already released and I can’t wait for the full album, which is set for March 10. She’ll be performing the first single of the album Living For Love at the Grammys and the music video is rumored to hit the internet February 14.

I’m in love with all I’ve listened to from this new era from the Queen of Pop and I really want to see what else she’s got in her pocket. I can’t wait to see all the surprises she has for her fans. Check out the full track list of the album below! Continue reading

Giorgio Moroder + Kylie Minogue – Right Here, Right Now

Giorgio Moroder - Kylie Minogue - Right Here Right Now

I’ve been reading rumors of this for a long time and now it’s finally happening! I didn’t really know who Giorgio Moroder was before all these rumors started to spread, but he’s a very important dance producer who helped Daft Punk with their last hit album Random Access Memories.

The rumors are that he’s working on a solo album collaborating with many many big names such as Kylie Minogue and even Britney Spears!! The first single Right Here, Right Now featuring Kylie leaked a few days ago, but it wasn’t officially released until today. I really like it and I think the song fits perfectly with Kylie’s style.  Continue reading

Mariah Carey Announces Residency in Las Vegas

Mariah Carey was on The Ellen Degeneres Show this Thursday and she made a big announcement! She’s heading to Las Vegas to do her first residency at Caesar’s Palace. The show will be an updated version of her #1’s album, she has 18 number ones and she’ll be performing all of them every night.

She’s the solo artist with more number one hits in history and the best selling female artist of all time. She’s got one of the best voices in the world and it was about time she did this. Her last album didn’t go very well and I don’t understand why, I loved it!!  Continue reading

Top 10 Best Dressed – 20th Critics’ Choice Awards

Keira Knightley - Critics' Choice Awards 2015

Yesterday this year’s Critics’ Choice Awards took place and the red carpet, well, blue carpet, was full of stars. There weren’t a lot of good fashion choices in my opinion, so it was very difficult to choose ten to do my best dressed list.

Many of them failed to impress, but the ones who impressed me did a great job! Check out the full list below!  Continue reading

Top 10 Best Dressed – 72nd Golden Globe Awards

Golden Globes 2015

Hi everyone! This is my first post of the year so happy 2015 to all of you!! I’ve been very busy catching up with all my illustration classes and I have lots of works to do so I’m so sorry I haven’t been posting much lately.

As you all probably know by now, I love to do my own Red Carpet coverage whenever an important event takes place, but the last events of 2014 didn’t have enough good fashions to write about them.

Last night this finally changed and the 2015 Golden Globes shined with everyone’s favorite stars from both movies and television. There were lots of fashion hits and also some misses, so here are my ten picks for the best fashion choices from the event.  Continue reading

Lucy Review

I know it was released a few months ago, but I finally got to watch Lucy! I’ve been wanting to watch it for a long time, but I missed it in the cinema and most of my friends told me it wasn’t very good so I didn’t watch it until tonight.

First of all I have to say that I don’t know if it was because I had low expectations, but I loved it! Scarlett Johansson was amazing as the leading character and the movie was really good in my opinion. The plot is very interesting and it has you on the edge of the sit for the whole movie, the visual effects are awesome and I know it may have a little too much fantasy, but since when is that a problem in a sci-fi movie?  Continue reading

Madonna – Rebel Heart Preview

Madonna - Rebe Heart

Following Madonna‘s will I haven’t posted anything about the leak of 13 demos from her new album a few days ago. The Queen of Pop was very upset and asked to all her true fans to not listen to them claiming that they were just unfinished demos and nothing like the final product.

In response to the leaks she has now released 6 tracks herself on iTunes and I have to say that I’m really loving this preview of the album. It was rumored to be called Unapologetic Bitch or Iconic, but Madonna has revealed that it’s called Rebel Heart, which is the name of the first track that leaked weeks ago.  Continue reading

Big Hero 6 Review

Big Hero 6

OMG! I just came back from the cinema and I haven’t been this excited after watching a movie in a long time!! Today was finally the premiere of Disney‘s new film Big Hero 6 in Spain. I didn’t know what to expect about this movie. I knew it was going to be good because Disney hasn’t disappoint me yet, but I didn’t expect it to be this good!!!

First I want to talk about how amazing the concept of this movie is. It takes place in an imaginary city called San Fransokio. As you can guess it’s a blend between San Francisco and Tokyo and I have to say that it’s just amazing!! Every little detail on the city is spectacular and you can see all the hard work behind the creation of this gem.  Continue reading

The Hobbit: The Battle Of Five The Armies Review

The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies

Last night I went to the premiere of The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies. First of all I have to say I’ve never been a fan of The Lord Of The Rings. I fell asleep in the first two movies from the original saga and never saw the third one. I watched the first two movies of The Hobbit with a friend and I really liked them. I found them very entertaining, A little too long maybe, but both of them were really good for me.

As for the last one, I was really excited to see it. A friend of mine bought the tickets a week in advance and we went with a big group of friends to see it yesterday. All of us, except one, were really disappointed with the movie.  Continue reading

Britney Spears feat. Iggy Azalea + Women’s Health Cover

Britney Spears ft. Iggy Azalea

Britney Spears looks amazing on the cover of Women’s Health January 2015 issue and it looks like 2015 is going to be Britney’s year!! We’ve been hearing all kinds of rumors lately and one of them was finally confirmed!! It looks like a collaboration between the Princess of Pop and Iggy Azalea has been recorded and apparently it’s awesome!!

The Australian rapper confirmed it on her Twitter and it’s rumored to be released early on next year as the first single from Britney’s new album. This album has been very secretive and she hasn’t hint as many clues as she did with Britney Jean, so I don’t know what to expect from it!! I heard William Orbit is one of the main producers of the album so I’m just crying tears of happiness!! She should’ve taken him instead of Will.I.Am for her las album, he’s just amazing!! He produced Alien and also Madonna‘s Ray Of Light album, which is my favorite album from her!! Continue reading

Ouija (2014) Review

Ouija 2014

Last weekend I went to see Ouija to the cinema. You know I love horror movies and I was very excited to see this one. The trailer was good so I had good expectations when I went to see it. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. I know I shouldn’t expect much from horror movies today, but at least they should have one big scare. This one didn’t.

It wasn’t scary at all, all the characters were just stupid and though the story had great potential it wasn’t well developed. At least in my opinion, they could’ve done much better with the material they had. Continue reading
