Hey guys, I know I haven’t ben posting for a while, but I was in a family trip to New York this past week and I took that time off! I’ll talk to you about this amazing vacation in an other post, so now I’ll be focusing on all the TV I missed this week and I’ve caught up with in the past two or three days!
I’m going to talk about all my favorite shows in airing order and I hope I don’t miss anything! I’ve been so tired from the long trip (13 hours by plane from NY to my hometown) that watching all these shows has helped me rest and get over that exhaustion.
So, let’s start with the recap!
The Big Bang Theory – Season 8 – The First Pitch Insufficiency + The Hook-Up Reverberation
As always these two episodes made me laugh a lot! Some of the highlights were Howard’s pitch and Sheldon booing him, it was awesome! I still can’t get use to Penny’s new haircut, it changes her character so much, it’s unbelievable what hair can do, right?
It would’ve been awesome that they bought Stewart’s comic book shop, but I understand it was a bad investment. Btw, I’m sick of Stewart living with Howard’s mom, he’s the creepiest character to ever been on TV, seriously!!
I like Raj’s girlfriend a lot, but I don’t know if I’m ready or want her to join the gang, she doesn’t fit well with the other characters, so I’m not sure how it’s going to be, It can be fun to see her fighting with Penny, but other than that I’m not that happy about her joining them.
Gotham – Season 1 – Selina Kyle + The Ballonman
I don’t have much to say about this show, it has disappointed me a lot. I was expecting much more from it and all I get is boring police cases with Batman characters. I was expecting to learn more about the origin of all the Gotham villains, but at least for now it’s not the case.
I’m going to give the show another shot because the only thing I like is watching little Bruce Wayne becoming Batman, at least I hope that will happen at the end. If the next few episodes continue to be like this I’m afraid I’m going to quit watching it.
New Girl – Season 4 – Julie Berkman’s Older Sister + Micro
I’m so glad this season is going back to what it used to be in the beginning. These two episodes were really funny and though there’re some things I still don’t like, Coach for example, it’s getting better and better.
The highlights from the episodes are Schmidt sponge commercial, seriously it killed me, and Jess’ new date, the micro penis thing was so funny!!! Oh and the photoshoot was great too! Schmidt is just the best.
Modern Family – Season 6 – Do Not Push + The Cold
These two have been some of the funniest episodes from this show ever!! I loved them and laughed more than ever! The experiment was the best part, it was the funniest scene I’ve ever seen!!
I like how Claire and Phil’s kids are growing up and I can’t believe Alex is going to college!! The are growing up so fast, especially Luke!!
Like always Gloria was hilarious! She’s one of my favorite characters on the show, but my truly favorite one is Lily!! She’s an amazing actress and I love all the shady comments she makes. She’s going to be amazing when she grows up!!
America’s Next Top Model – Cycle 21 – The Guy Who Wears Heels
I have to say I pretty much agree with the judges this time! Lenox was the best by far and though I love Kari, I agree that she seems lost and didn’t exactly know what to do with that amazing face she has. Hopefully she’ll come back, but I also want Ben to return so it’s going to be a hard decision!!
As for Denzel, he can go jump from a bridge. Ok, don’t do that, but who does he think he is? He wants to be part of an industry where 99% of men are gay and he has the nerve to make that kind of comments about Will. I’m not a huge Will fan, sometimes he gets very annoying, but I have to stand on his side this time! Seriously Denzel, cut the shit off, you’re nobody to be talking like that. If you don’t like gay people try another job.
Once Upon A Time – Season 4 – White Out
OMG!!! This looks so good!!! I’m loving this season so far and with only two episodes I’m speechless!! I love both Elsa and Anna, I love the casting choices they made, I love both actresses and their portrayal of the characters!! I can’t believe there’s another Ice Queen or Snow Queen, is she the one from Narnia? Or is she the original Ice Queen from the fairy tale? I can’t wait to know!!!
I didn’t like that Regina wasn’t a big part of the episode and like I’ve said before I don’t like that she’s turning evil again. But who knows, maybe Henry will help her to be good again.
Btw, is it me or the actor who plays Henry is getting worse and worse every season? He can’t act at all!!!! He’s my least favorite character on the show, though I don’t really like Snow and Charming either, but Henry is the worst by far!!
The Flash – Season 1 – City Of Heroes
I know that this pilot was leaked a few months ago, but I’ve been resisting myself to watch it until it officially aired. I loved the episode and I think this show will be really great. I think it can easily be better than Arrow just because unlike in that show, the hero and villains do have actual powers.
It looks really good, so I’m very excited to see what’s coming up next!! I loved that Danielle Panabaker is part of the cast and I love the main actor, he’s a great Barry Allan!
Btw, that cliffhanger at the end has me very very curious and anxious, I need to see the next episode!!
Arrow – Season 3 – The Calm
This is one of the shows I wanted to see the most. I have to say it didn’t disappoint, I was so anxious to know what happened after the island and we finally got to see a little bit of it. I loved watching Roy finally joining the team full time with his costume and I love that Brandon Routh has joined the cast! I missed Thea and loved that Sarah came back, but that ending, OMG, I’m shocked!!!!! I can’t wait to see what happens next!
Man, everyone have been waiting for this but me. I don’t want Olicity to happen and it looks like it’s happening, that’s the only thing I didn’t like about this new episode so far.
Btw, don’t you find weird Oliver’s new haircut? It looks so weird to me!!
American Horror Story – Freak Show – Monsters Among Us
AMAZING! Is all I have to say about this first episode! I have to say I wasn’t very happy when they first said the season would be about the circus. I don’t really like that theme, but when I watched the episode I was blown away!! I think this could possibly be the scariest season of all, I mean, just look at that creepy evil clown, I had nightmares for the first time with this guy!!
Another thing I really loved about it is that it shows that the darkest side of these “freaks” comes from her most human emotions and not from her deformities. So, what makes them really become monsters? Seriously, I loved it!!
Btw, that rendition of David Bowie‘s Life On Mars? by Jessica Lange was spectacular!!

Btw, I have decided to stop watching The Mysteries Of Laura. It was a hard decision to make, but I needed to get rid of one show because I don’t really have that much free time. It’s not that I didn’t like it, but it was the one that didn’t really follow a plot so I decided to leave it for another time!
