I wasn’t at home Sunday night when this year’s MTV Video Music Awards aired and I’ve been looking all day where to watch them and finally I did. So, I just finished watching the show and though it wasn’t as amazing as they used to be back in the 90s and early 2000s it was much better than last year’s show.
I really liked many of the performances like Taylor Swift and Iggy Azalea with Rita Ora. I disagree with some of the winners, but generally speaking the show was quite good.
I loved that Miley Cyrus won the Video Of The Year award for her Wrecking Ball video and dedicated the award to a homeless shelter. It was great to finish the show like that.
And then came Beyoncé. The Queen B rocked the stage and gave us, in my opinion, one of her best performances of all time. She did a medley with most of the songs from her latest album and wow, it was AMAZING!! She received the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award from her husband Jay-Z and their daughter Blue Ivy after she performed and it was just a very beautiful moment. Seriously, the show was good, but Bey elevated it to an other level, just amazing!! Flawless performance.
